Atlanta independent marketing agency Fitzco has won the Sylvania Automotive account after a review conducted by search consultancy Pile and Company.

Fitzco will be responsible for brand strategy, creative, media and analytics for Sylvania’s market-leading portfolio of automotive lighting products. Fitzco will handle the North America market.

“A big congratulations to the Fitzco team as they shined throughout the RFP process,” said Erin O’Malley, head of marketing at Sylvania, in a statement. “We were truly impressed with how they approached the brief—they brought a strong, data-first point of view to our business and opportunity areas for growth.”

Added Fitzco CEO Dave Fitzgerald: “This pitch was ideal for us to showcase why we acquired Constant Analytics last year. Data science informed and amplified the strategy, media and creative recommendation for Sylvania. They loved it and so did we.”

Fitzgerald, who founded the agency, came out of a four-year retirement in January 2020 when he bought it back Fitzco from IPG. Sylvania Automotive is the most recent win for Fitzco, as the agency has added Hilton Hotels, McCormick’s Cholula brand, North American Dental Group, Optum and State of Georgia to its client roster since the middle of 2021.
