Position Summary

Account Director will act as leader across several key businesses. They are responsible for inspiring the agency team, including 3-4 direct reports, and our clients in developing the most creative and effective solutions for their brands.

The best candidate will be both a big thinker with a strategic mindset able to nurture national CPG brands and someone with a keen sense for detail, able to manage a fast paced, always on, retail brand. They are an effective communicator and a trusted partner with strong collaboration skills. Production experience across all channels a must.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic business leader

  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and client partners to ensure business is thriving and growing
  • Act as the expert on client’s business, marketing activity and future goals to identify opportunities, inform recommendations, formulate future plans, and anticipate and resolve challenges
  • Champion the best work and create an environment for the best work, both internally and externally, in a way that fosters respect, collaboration, and solutions to drive the best business recommendations and results

New Business Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall, to coordinate all new business activity, participating wherever appropriate on the planning, implementation and follow-up of such activity. More specifically, to be involved in the following areas:

Agency Marketing

  • Social media – working with social media team to maintain and manage ongoing content calendar aligned with social media strategy; manage agency marketing status meetings
  • Website – keeping content current and managing updates together with the website and agency marketing team; manage website update tracker with project management and web production team
  • PR – work with agency account, creative, media and analytics teams to identify opportunities for PR; manage weekly status with PR rep to cover current PR pipeline, upcoming opportunities, and content needs; working with PR rep to identify agency speaking and award-show judging opportunities; under the guidance of the Head of Creative & Head of Strategy, help coordinate yearly award show plans

Prospecting

  • Develop and maintain ongoing prospecting list
  • Using agency research tools, conduct preliminary research required for intelligence gathering and outreach
  • Develop backgrounders on potential prospects and/or active prospects used to brief agency leadership and pitch teams on opportunities
  • Read industry trades and relevant business articles for pertinent information on prospecting targets
  • Manage internal database of agency staff experience and industry connections
  • Keep consultant list current and work with CEO and Head of Growth on appropriate outreach plan

New Business Materials:

  • Coordinate planning and development of agency pitch materials — credentials, cases, custom materials for presentations, etc.
  • Organize and maintain central depository of all new business material and general material, i.e., backgrounders, questionnaire responses, credentials, RFP responses, cases, bios & headshots, past work, records of specific presentations and prospect files
  • Keep all materials updated (in-house, etc.)

New Business Presentations

  • Schedule prospect meetings and planning sessions
  • Assist in developing agenda, format and materials
  • Serve as information resource and obtain and provide all relevant material to pitch team
  • Help set up pitch room for in-person meetings
  • Assist and provide materials where requested by Head of Growth and pitch team

Account Manager (Part Time)

Position Summary

We are looking to fill one half of an Account Manager job share. Together, the two part-time employees will play a key role within the Account Management group. The ideal candidate is savvy managing Client relationships, detail-oriented and an extremely effective communicator. The candidate must be comfortable working in a partnership with the person already filling the other half of this role

Mandatories

This job share must function like a full-time employee. So, while the role will require 20-25 hours per week, there may be instances where work will require extra hours in a given day to complete projects or to prepare the job share partner for their work.

Key Responsibilities

Support Account Management team in various ways, inclusive but not limited to:

  • Oversee projects in partnership with media, creative, production and project management in order to meet client’s objectives and budget

Position Summary

The Senior Strategist should be a seasoned (5+yrs) consumer marketer with proven results in applying the skills of a culturalist, a digital-first integrator, and a social media marketer. The Senior Strategist will often work directly with our clients on retainer and project-based engagements to create compelling marketing campaigns that are creative, targeted, measurable and produce quantifiable results. The Senior Strategist will help oversee our social strategist in his/her social media reporting service to our clients. The Senior Strategist will provide specific deliverables such as creative briefs and strategic plans for existing as well as prospective clients. Finally, the Senior Strategist will assist with the overall research and development of our consulting services.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy

Strategy and consulting services, including, but not limited to the creation of:

  • Creative briefs that harness inspiring cultural insights
  • Strategic POVs and plans in collaboration with agency and client partners
  • Integrated Marketing Plans in collaboration with creative, media and comms strategists
  • Oversee social media development playbooks and guidelines: including brand, content, and calendars.
  • Seek out thought public leadership opportunities for presenting the agency’s expertise and point of view.

Account Support

  • Work closely with the various Account leads, agency leadership, fellow strategists, and the Head of Strategy (TBH) on ideation and strategy formula to ensure strategy recommendations are in alignment with the client’s goals and brand’s foundation and positions.

Presentation and Communication Skills

  • Confidence creating and delivering presentations to large groups of people all over the world on behalf of our clients.

  • An avid subject matter expert on culture and digital platforms who is able to educate clients and internal teams on cultural trends.
